Role Purpose:

To maintain and grow the sales revenues within the designated territory through achievement of sales targets and achievement of agreed gross margin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a balanced sales methodology to the territory encompassing retention of large spending accounts, growth of potential accounts and acquisition of new accounts
  • Adoption of a portfolio sales approach encompassing selling up, cross selling, promoting all of our services propositions and adoption of campaign led market initiatives
  • To be the territory focal point for all Company activities and initiatives and act accordingly in all aspects of the role, by maintaining a professional approach at all times
  • Service, support and manage all designated DD accounts within the territory
  • Work in conjunction with the internal sales team to ensure joint working and team working on your territory
  • To formulate and execute a territory plan in support of achievement of margin targets, on a quarterly basis
  • To target and track progress on relevant IT and CRM systems and provide accurate and timely reports using this format
  • Achievement of call cycle targets whilst effectively utilising our company sales reporting system CRM
  • Provide monthly sales analytics, specific to territory.
  • Be responsible for achieving your individual and team productivity targets and KPI's.
  • Supporting the Key Account Manager by visiting our Key Account customers in accordance with each individual groups’ requirements
  • To build & maintain relationships with Clients, key internal managers & external suppliers including our top 20 Manufacturer partners
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of new products, market initiatives and competitive threat within the territory and develop strategies to exploit /counter such activities


Standard Company Requirements

  • To comply with all Health and Safety requirements as outlined by the Health and Safety Executive and business.
  • To participate in all relevant quality programs and assist as required in quality initiatives.
  • To ensure PPE issued by the business is worn in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Training is undertaken as recommended by your manager.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by your manager.
  • When required attend out of hours events

Qualifications & Experience:


Skills Required: 

  • Proven Track record in Sales, motivated by delivering excellent customer service
  • Dealing with all prospective/existing customers in a professional and engaging manner to ensure the best customer experience
  • Proficient using Microsoft packages including Excel
  • Possess a level of commercial awareness


Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Extensive Sales experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Dental, Pharmaceutical or clinical industries preferred
