The Dental Directory is a one-stop-shop for all Dental practice needs, from everyday sundries, facial aesthetic products and training, to state-of-the-art surgery equipment including dental units and digital imaging apparatus and engineering and lab services.
From humble beginnings more than 40 years ago The Dental Directory has grown to become one of the UK’s largest dental dealers with a product range of more than 27,000 different products that cover every aspect of modern dentistry.
Through acquisitions and organic growth the Dental Directory group of companies now employs over 570 people across four UK locations.
A business partnering role supporting various areas of the Sales and support functions. The job will involve supporting and challenging our commercial colleagues to maximise profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and producing daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting for budget holders to enable increased visibility of activity, sales and costs.
Work with large data sets across key systems to produce meaningful analysis to support business decision making.
Support business to develop robust processes to ensure financial integrity.
Work as a Business Partners to the Commercial Director to build budgets and forecasts in areas of responsibility.
Support the co-ordination and production of the business wide quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.
Work with the Commercial Finance Manager & Commercial Directors to undertake project appraisals and investment modelling where required.
Responsible for working with stakeholders across the business to support and drive improved performance.
Undertake any ad-hoc tasks and analysis as and when required.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills, Good written and verbal communication skills

Excellent financial systems and Microsoft office skills particularly Excel

Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience of working in a commercial finance or financial analysis role
Experience of developing management reporting
Experience of budget and forecast processes
Experience of using budget models
Extensive experience of using financial systems and Excel
Part - qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA accountant or QBE
